Monday, Monday

We worked very hard today putting together a desk unit in Bern's office. He got the desk and bookcase from our friend, Mike Bonadio (before he went into hospital). Anyway, it is extremely heavy and we had to figure out how it all went together and how the heck to hold up the pieces while they got screwed together! We did it, though! With some touch up paint, spit and polish, it will work just fine. He's up there now, putting all his model cars in the bookcase. He hooked up his laptop, printer and phone/fax this afternoon. He's never actually had a room of his own so he is thrilled!!!

I just had to put this picture of Tammy and Brent up here. Even though Tammy got a Halloween costume here (a bumble bee) before they went back to Taiwan, she decided to go as a cowgirl this year. She says next year she will wear the bee costume and Brent will dress up as a giant flower - this I've got to see!!!

We have to go pick up my car tomorrow at the dealership. They called tonight to say they couldn't figure out what we were talking about, but they will do a diagnostic on it in the morning to see if they can isolate the problem. It's not such a BIG problem, but just in case it develops into something big, we're on record.

We're also hoping to go to one of the Veteran's Day ceremonies tomorrow, too. There are several planned throughout Welland including one down road from our church.

Thursday, Bern is planning to go to Oakville to visit James and then to visit Mike in the hospital. I'm getting my flu shot on Thursday afternoon so I can't go, but Bern wants some time with James by himself - they'll go out for lunch or something. So, that's it for now. Stay tuned!
