We found the perfect house. It's in Welland. For those of you who don't know where Welland is, it's between here and Niagara Falls. About halfway, you turn south and go about 15 minutes to Welland. The house is beautiful! It's a 3 bedroom, raised bungalow. It is open concept with a big kitchen with a breakfast bar. There is gorgeous hardwood and ceramics throughout. The basement is not finished, but is huge and has nice big windows so you don't feel like you're in a basement at all. We both fell in love with the house right away. We've been looking at lots of them and this is the only one that got us both!!
There is another offer on the house, but it's conditional on the buyer selling his house. We're going in with an unconditional offer, with a quick closing which is what the seller is hoping for since he's already been transferred due to business - so we're kind of confident we'll get it.
However, I'm trying to NOT GET EXCITED, but you might be able to tell I'm not winning that battle. Stay tuned!!
