We spent most of the day in Welland with our real estate agent, Stew. We looked at seven or eight houses and found two we really like. We put an offer in on the one we like the most and we're just waiting for the sellers to say yes or no. This house is next door to our agent's house! It's a back split and is on a court of big, beautiful houses. It doesn't look very big from the street, but it's very roomy inside.
If we don't get this one, we still have the other one to fall back on. It's a two bedroom, but very roomy. The basement isn't finished, so that would have to be worked on. If we don't get that one, then we're talking about storing all our stuff and renting for awhile until we get exactly what we want. It takes some of the pressure off! We told James if we don't find a house, we'll come and live with him. His face went pale...so we had to tell him we were kidding.
So, until our agent calls us tonight, that's all the news that's fit to print for now. Hopefully, I'll have something wonderful to say in my next entry.
