Sometimes you should just stay put!

We came into Burks Fall this morning and stopped at the dump to get rid of our garbage, but we were 45 minutes early so the dump nazi wouldn't let us dump our two little bags of garbage (which if he had, the rest of the day would have undoubtedly turned out differently). We had to go to the Township Office anyway to get a copy of our cottage tax bill so I could get a library card for Burks Falls. That killed enough time so that when we went back to the dump, we only had to wait 10 minutes for them to open the gates. So far, so good? We went in and dumped our stuff and as we went to drive away, we noticed a little bear in amongst the garbage so we stopped to take a picture...Unfortunately, as we started to drive away, a woman in a little red Toyota came up beside the truck, and because we didn't see her, we hit her car. Now, we didn't even feel a crunch or anything, but she claims we caused a huge dent in her front fender...hmmmm. As if that wasn't bad enough, as we pulled away, the brakes gave out on the truck - we just barely made it to the garage in town. We were prepared to be taken for a $ride$, but it ended up only costing us $60!!!! Now, here I am in the library finally checking email and updating you all on our exciting life. Bern's waiting outside in the truck, so I'd better finish up here. We still have to go get groceries. Cheers!
