We got up early this morning after a restless night. Bern and Mom both crashed around 9:00 p.m. and I stayed up until almost 11:00, but none of us really slept very well. The breakfast provided by the Holiday Inn was pretty good - lots of choices, but Mom just had toast because she was afraid of getting heart burn. Anyway, she laid down in the back seat for awhile and rested and by the time we stopped for lunch, she was ready to eat something. Fortunately, the restaurant we stopped at was the Blackwoods at the Americinn we stayed at on our way out to Montana, so we knew the food was good. She had a grilled salmon sandwich - and she loved it! She's been really lively and happy all afternoon (except for a little nap this afternoon here at the Days Inn). Both seniors had a little snooze and we'll be heading out for dinner in about half an hour or so.
We're getting anxious to be home, but are taking our time so we're not all exhausted by the time we get there. Bern stops quite often so we can all get out and stretch our legs. That's all for today - unless something momentus happens....we're the happy travelers!

P.S. We just got back from supper at a restaurant called "The Liberty Bell". We are so full, we can hardly move! We had the specials - I had egg plant parmiagan, Bern and Mom had beef tenderloin in gravy over homemade noodles. Anyway, good night!
