She also said she left the hospital early Sunday evening after she noticed he kept trying to look through and around her to see the TV - so she started to cheer for the other team and he assured her it would be OK if she headed home before it got dark - yeah, that was his excuse to get rid of me, she says. She also said she is so thankful he can watch stupid football! So cute!
Anyway, so far his heart is overriding the temporary pacemaker - which is excellent - he is praying he won't have to keep the pacemaker. We can pray for that, too!
We got back home Sunday afternoon after spending a lovely day at Penny`s. We celebrated Shawna`s 16th birthday in real style. There were balloons everywhere, we had a wonderful lunch, birthday cake and presents. It was lots of fun.`
After we got home, we were invited to watch the superbowl with some of our friends from the church. There were quite a few families there - it was so much fun! The food was amazing and I got a chance to visit with some of the gals (who weren`t really ìnto the game) and Bern really seemed to enjoy himself, too. That is, until New Orleans beat the Colts! Tonight, we`re going over to the church for supper. I wonder if they took a poll they`d find out Baptists were more overweight than other denominations. Just a thought!
