We had a good time at Fran's 60th birthday party last night. There were lots of old friends to visit with and the food was wonderful, too! Here are a few pictures of the event.

The contractors were in all day today laying our hardwood floors. I'm amazed that they got so much done in such a short time! Our bedroom, the hallway and my office are finished plus half the floor in the livingroom has been torn up. We picked the tile for the bathroom, so that will go in tomorrow. The floor looks amazing! Tomorrow, they will also work on the main level - the kitchen, dining room and living room.
The deck contractor called tonight to say he would be coming over tomorrow to start drilling holes for the posts to go in. Hopefully, the deck will be finished by the end of the week. We'll be putting the house back together and painting, so I guess there's really no rush for the deck since I doubt we'll have time to sit down to enjoy it. Oh well!
