"It also appears now that he has a very serious alcohol addiction and he is going through withdrawal in the hospital. What is sad is that his father's alcoholism affected Kyle's family as he was growing up, leading to his parents' divorce, and now Kyle's was impacting his own wife and son."
We really need your prayers for Kyle and his family. God can take the most horrible of situations and turn them to his own good purpose.
This is a picture of Kyle and Nikki before their son was born.We went into Oakville yesterday as Bern and I both had dentist appointments. I made a hair appointment, too, since I've yet to see anyone in Welland with a haircut I like. Our appointment was for 1:00 p.m. so we took some back roads through the country side - it was really pretty. After my hair appointment, we went to visit Bern's hunting buddy, Mike. He was diagnosed a couple of months ago with a stage 4 cancerous brain tumour. They operated and removed part of the tumour, but couldn't get it all. He's doing chemo right now and has done radiation therapy.
He has a wife, Maria, daughter Teresa and son, Bruno. They are all devasted, of course. Mike is only 51. Please pray for that family, too.We stopped in to see James and Emily. The apartment was as neat as a pin!!! We weren't allowed to look in the bedroom, but that's okay. Everything else looked great and they seem to be happy and are looking forward to their trip to the Bahamas for Emily's cousins wedding in June. We only stayed for an hour and then came back home. It was a very busy day.
