It was a very good day!

Well, even though I didn't have my boys home for Mothers Day, Bern made the day very special for me. On Saturday we went out and bought a chaise lounge so just in case we get summer, I can go outside and sun myself! Then, late in the afternoon, a huge bouquet of flowers arrived from James. There were so many flowers, I had to put them into two vases!!


Sunday morning Bern made breakfast, we went to church and when we came home, Bern made lunch and wouldn't let me do anything all day long. For supper, he made us steak and portabello mushrooms with a nice salad. I had made an apple pie on Saturday - it was probably the BEST APPLE PIE I've ever made! Needless to say, it's all gone - we're such little piggies!! James called to wish me a Happy Mothers Day and Brent called me this morning.

Bern's gone hunting turkey with Wade. He'll be back tomorrow afternoon sometime so I'm hoping to get some crafty things done while he's gone. So, I'd better get started, huh?
