He continues to provide for Heather. The landlord agreed to handle the rental by the book and is looking forward to having Heather as a tenant! Why do we even doubt that God is in control? Because we're human and think He is only as powerful as we are, when really He owns the universe and commands the planets and stars. AND....He loves and care for us!! Amazing grace, how sweet the sound.
AND, from my cousin, Bev:
Hello to all of you -- I talked to Braden's grandfather this evening and he said yesterday was a little rough, as Braden had fluid on his lungs. But today they had him walking, eating some applesauce and crackers, and -- he pooped, which made everybody happy!! They think he is doing so well that he can go home this weekend. Grandpa said to thank you all for your prayers; he's sure it has made a difference in this little one's recovery. If you think of him now and then, do say a prayer because he does have some recovering to do yet! Thank you, all of you! You're wonderful! Bev
Bern got back home this afternoon. He said there is lots of snow up north and its the beautiful, heavy kind. He and Ray chopped down a couple of Christmas trees, so after having an artificial tree for the last few years, it will be nice to have the smell of a real tree in the house again.
Tomorrow, we're planning to go look at some countertop samples. It's very confusing, but we'll get there eventually. Like most of our decorating decisions, we'll start out at opposite ends of the spectrum, finally agreeing on something that looks great. There's a new product out now called Caesar Stone we're going to look at, as well as granite and quartz. I love the look of granite, but we've heard some disturbing things about it including radium leaking from it and that it's porous - so slapping a raw piece of chicken on the counter may lead to botulism! I've actually never slapped a piece of raw chicken onto a counter, but heck!
Saturday night, our church is sponsoring a stage production of The Lion, Witch and Wardrobe. Fran and Mike were going to come out for it, but with having to help Heather move into her new place, they're not able to make it. Ray and Shirley are coming with us. It should be fun - it's a great story!
