Last weekend, we went to Massey. Just north of Burks Falls, we spotted a couple of moose by the side of the highway. It was so cool. There were two females and two calves (which were hidden in the bushes, but they'd been spotted by a couple of the other people taking pictures). We watched them for about five minutes. They didn't seem to be too fussed by all the attention.
The reason for our trip was to attend the wedding of Bern's cousin's youngest son, Anthony to Jodi. It was a lovely wedding held outside - the weather was perfect. We stayed with Jocelyn and Andre (Bern's cousin and her husband). We had a great time! Bern got a chance to reconnect with some of his relatives. I got to spend some time with Lillian. She's facing surgery to remove one of her kidneys. She has a cancerous tumour growing inside it. Thankfully, it's contained within the kidney. Please pray for her.
After a couple days of rain and windy weather, we decided to pack up, close the cottage for the winter and come home. I'm so happy to be home! I made an appointment to start Curves tomorrow morning at 10:30 a.m. - the wheels are in motion!
