Before I tell you about our lovely Thanksgiving day, I have to tell you that my friend, Karleen called me the other day asking us to start praying for her again. The cancer is back and she is starting another course of chemo. She'd been in remission for quite awhile - and then was in a car accident a few months ago. That seemed to trigger the cancer to rear its ugly head again. She asked me to tell you all how much she appreciates your prayers for her and she knows it's only by the grace of God that she's still here. We're hoping to see her when we go to Massey at the end of this month.
We had such a great time at Fran and Mike's on Sunday. The meal was awesome - turkey with all the trimmings not to mention pre-dinner treats! We girls went for a little walk around the block after dinner - we NEEDED it after all the food we ate. Next week, Jan, Ginny, Fran and Maggie are coming out to stay with me for a couple of days while Bern's away moose hunting. So excited! Here are a few pictures of our Thanksgiving day. Lots of these pictures were taken by Heather and I'm looking forward to seeing Ginny's pictures, too. She was taking pictures like a mad thing all day!
