It's been awhile!

Mom is holding her own. She's resigned to the fact she will be staying in the nursing home...but, she's got a great TV so is somewhat okay. I told her about Bern having to have a wisdom tooth pulled a couple of weeks ago. She asked how he liked jello. She said they were serving her red jello day after day until she finally complained! I said, "Good for you! What happened?" She said, "Now I get all different colours!" She is sounding weaker each time we talk, though. Please keep her in your prayers.

Bern's been getting the house and yard all ready for winter - closed the pool, got the furnace checked over, etc. and, of course, the weather has been spectacular for the last week or so! Oh well, winter is on it's way.

Before I post pictures of our beautiful granddaughter, I have exciting news! We're going to be grandparents again!!! Brent and Tammy are pregnant - only 12 weeks, so far - baby is due April 9th - a day before Tammy's birthday! We're very excited! Nikki is so perfect, it's hard to imagine another. But, we love him/her already. Tammy said she has no idea how to take care of a boy - she was raised with only a sister! She said if the baby is a boy, he's all Brent's to take care of! LOL! She will figure it out.

I don't know how she suddenly got old enough to play in the park! But, she sure seems to enjoy it. Here are some more picture of her at daycare. Brent says now she's crying and hugging him when he drops her off - breaks his heart! Once he goes, though, she's happy with her day. Both Brent and Tammy have access to video feeds so they can watch her throughout the day. They think she's reacting to the fact that her Mom had been away on a business trip and that one of her favourite teachers left the school. Poor little thing!
