Some updates and pictures

Since my last post, we have praises! My niece, Liz, is doing very well. The medication has done its job and she is recovering well from the ectopic pregnancy. Also, my friend Dawn's granddaughter, Abby arrived after a very lengthy delivery. She had some issues with feeding at first and started losing weight, but she caught onto the idea and is thriving! Dawn sent a video of the little sweetie-pie smiling and gurgling, which Grandma thinks is brilliant, of course!

Please pray for Dawn, though. She's having difficulty with her shoulder. She says it feels like it's asleep all the time. She has Parkinson's disease and has been doing so well. The doctor is amazed at her condition. She gives all the credit to God.

Ginni attended the graduation of her daughter, Mandy, from the Masters program at Cambridge University. The pictures are amazing and she looks wonderful. She will be starting therapy soon to be able to adapt to her prosthetic leg. It's a long process apparently. Fran, Mike and Heather are leaving in a couple of weeks to go visit her in England. Please continue to hold them all up in prayer.

Our little granddaughter, Nikki is in daycare! Tammy had to go back to work full time so with Brent's work schedule, they needed to have a place for Nikki to go. The daycare is one of the best in the area. They even provide the parents with a video link so they can check in during the day. Nikki LOVES it. Poor Brent is heart broken every day when he drops her off - she practically jumps out of his arms and runs to play! Tammy sent me a few pictures today.

I've been busy creating scrapbook pages for Nikki. So much fun! Here are a few:

We're busy making plans to go out to Montana for my mother's 90th birthday in June. We were going to include Calgary in our travels, but are beginning to think we're biting off more than we can chew. We may just wait until later in the year to go to Calgary - then fly there instead of driving. Getting too old, I think! Mom seems to be doing pretty good, except for a cough that won't go away. She's looking forward to seeing everyone in June. Please remember her in your prayers (I know you do!)
